One forgotten promise costs more than a year of Jotted.

One forgotten promise or one "that's not what we agreed on" can cost you more than a year of Jotted. Record free forever, and $14 a month when you want the notes written for you. That is the monthly price, not a number that only applies if you pay for a year upfront.

Comparing against something else? See Jotted next to Bluedot, Otter, Fathom, Fireflies and the rest, including where each one wins.

The price you see is the price you pay.

Most meeting tools advertise a low monthly figure that only applies if you pay for a whole year upfront. Pay month to month and the real number is usually well above ours. Jotted is $14 either way, and it does the job of two subscriptions: a notetaker for the transcript and a screen recorder for the video.

The usual setup

Frequently asked questions

Does a bot join my meetings?

No, never, on any plan. Jotted records from your computer the way a screen recorder does. Nothing appears in the participant list and nothing changes for anyone else on the call.

Which meeting apps does it work with?

All of them. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Discord, Slack huddles. Jotted records your desktop, not a specific app, so there is nothing to integrate and no compatibility list to check.

Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. Unlimited recordings, any length, with every word transcribed right on your computer, free forever. You do not even need an account for it: download Jotted, open it, and record. There is no time cap, no watermark, and no monthly limit designed to annoy you into paying. Most tools cap free transcription by the minute, so it is worth seeing what free meeting transcription with no minute limit looks like in practice. Upgrading is for when you want the summary, the action items, cloud access, and sharing.

How does the seven-meeting trial work?

You get seven meetings with every Pro feature switched on, and we do not ask for a card. There is no clock on it either, so it waits until you actually have meetings to record rather than counting down while you are busy.

A meeting only uses one of the seven when a recording longer than two minutes gets a summary. Short clips cost nothing, and re-running a summary on the same recording does not use another. After the seventh you move to the free tier and keep using Jotted, with everything you already made still there.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. You get seven meetings of Pro before paying anything, so most people know either way before money changes hands. If you do subscribe and then change your mind, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no reason needed. After that you can cancel any time and you will not be billed again, though we do not refund days you have already paid for. And if we ever charge you in error, or Jotted does not do something this site says it does, we will put it right whenever you tell us.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, anytime. Move from Free to Pro when you want the notes handled, or step back down. Your recordings stay yours through every change.

Can I use Jotted for my team?

Yes. Jotted is priced per person at $14 a month, so a team of five is five subscriptions. There is no separate team plan and no minimum.

One tip if you are buying for staff: use company email addresses rather than personal ones. Signing in is a code sent to the email, so whoever controls the mailbox controls the account. If someone leaves, their recordings stay with you and there is no handover to arrange. Email hello@getjotted.com and we will sign them out of their devices so you can take the account over.

What happens to my recordings if I cancel?

Your recordings on your computer are yours to keep and are never deleted, no matter what. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. We let you know in good time so you can download anything you want to keep from the cloud, and your cloud recordings are deleted 24 hours after that period ends. The longer version, covering the local copy and the cloud copy separately, is on the page about where your recordings are stored.

What if my card expires or a payment fails?

Nothing gets deleted straight away. Your account pauses: paid features stop working, but every cloud recording stays safe and untouched. You have 15 days to update your card, and the moment you do, everything resumes exactly as it was. If the 15 days pass with no update, the account and its cloud recordings are deleted. Your local recordings are never affected.

Never lose another meeting.
